Meet The Founder

J KYLE ALEXANDER is rooted in the core principles of its founder, Julia Stevenson. Discipline, preparation, precision, and performance under pressure are values instilled from her elite athletic training as an Olympic hopeful in track and field. That athletic discipline has been applied to her work in quantitative finance and private equity over her 20-year career.

Stevenson's career in finance began in commercial real estate development, which led to roles in local government and commercial real estate lending. Over the past decade, her focus has shifted to private equity and fund formation, with significant experience in impact investing.

Julia Stevenson holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University and an M.S. in Finance from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family in Washington, D.C. and the Midwest, hiking mountains and volcanoes, and traveling internationally.
